At Calvary, we want to be a church that is Bible-based and Scripture-saturated, Christ-centered and God-glorifying. At first glance that may seem redundant, so let me explain further. First of all, we are trying to minister according to God's Word (Bible-based) and with God's Word (Scripture-saturated). We strongly emphasize a preaching and teaching ministry, as well as using the Bible in all of our ministries. Secondly, we are seeking to check both our motives in ministry (God-glorifying) and our focus in ministry (Christ-centered) so that we can truly say, "It's all about Him."

You might be wondering where you would fit in at Calvary. After all, if we are seeking a God focus in all that we do, it doesn't sound like we are too interested in you. In reality, our commitment to the Lord in no way diminishes our love for you, or our desire and ability to minister to you. In fact, it enhances that desire and ability instead. The greatest and crying need of the human heart is to know God. We were created for Him. As we focus on Him at Calvary, we are actually helping you to satisfy the deepest of longings. This is the best thing we can do for you, for us, for anyone.
